We're back...

Mama is in bed trying to sleep. Summer is asleep. I'm up because I have to go to the airport to pick up Erika, because she's coming from California to spend the weekend with us! :-)

So, Summer had a decent time in night-care...Here we are all set to take her there and go out!


It was so great being able to dress up and have a nice relaxing dinner! We hadn't had a baby-sitter to go out at night since before we moved here, nearly THREE months ago!

Anyway, Summer played and fell asleep around 8:30. So, she was totally OK.

We tried one restaurant and it was WAY too packed, so we headed to Bucca deBeppos. We ate at the bar, since otherwise it would have been an hour long wait. Yummy dinner, great time! After that we went shopping at the bookstore. We got books and things for 6 people!!! We were done just as the store was closing at 9:00, so we headed out and figured we'd get Summer...an hour before we had to, but we are tired and there wasn't much else to do...except get home and finally wrap Erika's birthday gift! While wrapping, Mama got a little crazy...you'd think she was the one drinking! But, no, only I had one beer. This is just Mama having fun!
